The Israel Management Center (IMC) was founded in 1959 as a non-profit organization for managers in Israel by the Government of Israel, Hevrat Ha’ovdim (The Workers Company) and the Association of Industrialists, with a view to promoting management in Israel.

 

The Israel Management Center (IMC) constitutes a framework and center for Israel’s senior managers and executives to get together, for the exchange of knowledge, promoton of business, elucidation of management issues, development of management and leadership qualifications, and cross-fertilization. MIL serves as a lever for the personal/professional development of the manager as well as the promotion of his organization.

 

The Israel Management Center organizes dozens of conferences/conventions for Israel’s business leadership and runs a premier school for executives, which holds courses for some 4,500 people a year. Some of the prominent events arranged by MIL include: the Annual Executives Convention, the Annual Directors Conference, the Annual Communications Conference, the Effie Awards Competition for Effective Advertising and Marketing, the Annual Human Resources Conference, and the Annual Biotechnology Convention.

 

Apart from holding leading conferences for the top ranks of management in Israel, MIL is the only organization in Israel that reaches defined niches in the business world through the diverse forums it holds: the Customer Service Forum headed by Dr. Yitzhak Peterburg, the Association of Human Resources Managers headed by Yehuda Porat, the New Generation CEOs Forum headed by Uri Yogev, the Club for Real-Estate CEOs and Senior Executives headed by Uzi Vardi-Zer, the Premier Marketing Club headed by Arik Reichman, the Medical Senior Managers Forum headed by Prof. Yair Shapira, as well as MIL’s prestigious Hi-Tech CEOs Forum headed by Shlomo Gradman.
