The Association of Publicly Traded Companies is a non-profit organization founded twelve years ago by a group of chairmen and CEOs of publicly traded companies and jurists, with a view to representing the interests of stock-exchange companies vis-à-vis the executive and legislative authorities.
Today, hundreds of publicly traded companies are members of the Association and have their shares listed on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange, Nasdaq and other stock exchanges around the world. The Association represents a wide spectrum of economic activity, encompassing large, medium and small companies with spheres of activity in all business sectors.
The Association of Publicly Traded Companies holds in conjunction with DC. Finance the Semi Annual Economic Conference – which takes place twice a year at the Stock Exchange, and is attended by the sector’s upper echelons. other main conferences are The "Annual Underwriting Conference" and the "Going Public Abroad Event".
Aside from strictly maintaining their high professionalism, these conferences serve as semiannual networking gatherings for the capital market’s elite. The conference topics are selected with great care, following consultation with top-ranking figures in the large stock exchange companies and leading VPs Finance. A review of the subjects on the agenda is issued at the conference and released to the press the following day.
