YPO is one of the most prestigious organizations in the world, which by means of uncompromising admission rules reached the ends of the world after 50 years of activity in the business world. Today there are over 8,500 members in the organization, comprising CEOs and corporate presidents in some 200 chapters in 75 countries. Membership in the organization is open only to CEOs up to age 50, holding the top position in organizations employing at least 50 workers, with a minimum sales turnover of $8 million. Total revenues of all the companies headed by YPO members is $1.8 trillion, making the organization the fourth largest virtual corporation in the world.
The organization’s vision: The creation of a leading executives reserve through the provision and enrichment of an international networking platform. The organization does this via tens of prestigious meetings held worldwide, where executives exchange ideas, listen to lectures on business topics, and promote various humanitarian goals. Included among the lecturers at global YPO events are: Bill Clinton, Nelson Mandela, Bill Gates, and King Abdullah in the Jordanian Chapter.
Founded in 2002, YPO Israel, today, has as members many tens of CEOs and corporate presidents from leading Israeli companies. Not for nothing is YPO Israel considered one of the most successful and highly-esteemed chapters in the international organization. In the last year, YPO Israel held 12 gatherings, among them: “Vision and Strategy” with Eli Horowitz, Chairman of Teva; an assembly on the topic of “Leadership in Crisis” with Dr. Yossi Bachar; “The New Economic Program” – a meeting with the Minister Meir Sheetrit, and other quality meets.
