The Association of the Chambers of Commerce is the largest business organization in Israel and operates as a non-profit body that renders its members a wide range of services, including lobbying at the Knesset for the promotion of the members’ interests, handling of sectorial problems, finding out sector-related information, giving advice and opinions on relevant subjects, organizing and participating in fairs, holding advanced study sessions and seminars, conductng activities for the encouragement of business such as the publication of informaion on business opportunities from information banks and from direct inquiries from Israel and abroad.
Total membership at The Association of the Chambers of Commerce is over 4,500 companies from the entire spectrum of the Israeli business world. Communications companies, banks, food chains, factories, investment houses, hi-tech firms, and pharmaceutical companies are just several examples of the variety of organizations that are banded together under some 100 divisions and sectors.
